Gov’ernment must meet its basic obligations without theatrics; homeland securitah and the public trust are not bargaining chips. Let us not seek the Republican answah or the Democratic answah, but the right answah—and act swiftly with oversight that guards liberty. “The time to repair the roof is when the sun is shining.”

Government, like a well-run laboratory, must proceed by method, not theatrics. “Will it help the nation’s security and welfare—this hour?” If yes, fund the essentials, extend necessary powers under strict civilian oversight, and move on; a republic cannot run on delay.
